MSDGCA-2 Recessed Grooved Aluminum Floor Expansion Joints for Parking Garage is on the series of Avida heavy duty expansion joint systems.

Brief Introduction

• Consisting of one metal top plate and aluminum bases with a central slide bar in between. And there is a sliding metal strip inserted in top plate to hide screws. The top plate is secured to the middle place of the bar with bolt. 
• Capable of accomodating multi-directional seismic, vertical displacement and parallel lateral shear movement.
• Rated for high pedestrian load, making system ideal for heavy traffic area.
• ADA compliant styles and no bump floor designs ideal for bump sensitive applications.
• Flush mount, adaptable with many floor finishes like marble, granite, limestone etc.
• Grooved surface provides anti-slip function and can also be speed dump to control traffic and reduce the vehicle speeds for car parking areas.
• The heavy duty aluminum cover plate and components are heavier in thickness and size than most systems offered in the market place, extending the performance and life span of the system.
• Variable cover plate materials: Aluminum, stainless steel, hot deep galvanized versions are available for cover plate.
• Cost-effective option for a high load bearing system ideal for vehicular traffic areas,such as parking garages and warehouses.
